You should come and find me at my new home on wordpress: holaolah. One of my New Year's resolutions is to actually write a blog that's more than 140 characters. We shall see. We shall see.

Beer Me

These days I am enjoying "cask conditioned" bottled Philadelphia Brewing Co. beer. In other words, I keep it in the basement and drink it at room temperature. Fancy, not desperate.

It's still on... but I wonder.

Welcome first time holaolah twitter friends/followers. I am a failed blogger. But you have to admit that I am the cats pajamas at the micro-blogging thing. I do have larger thoughts sometimes, so I will keep the holaolah blog (since fall 2005, might I add) up and running for a time when life slows down and I can make macro blogs again. Nice to meet ya, thanks for visiting, keep in touch.

A Long Overdue Shout Out

I miss working on the farm with my new/old buddies Elam "Eazy-E" Zook and his trusty sidekick Blue. You can thank them for my "when animals attack" profile photo. He's a unique soul that Elam: an Amish Unitarian Grandpa whose gears are always turning to find ways to work smarter (as opposed to harder). And he's a blogger to boot. Blue, well, he's a black dog with one blue eye. He's a hell of a field mouse hunter as well.

We only worked together for a season, but I think I made some friends for life. Awww!

The new job has me thoroughly immersed in the cult of the Festool. Between being worked like a stevedore (a word introduced to me by a sign carver I interviewed for a magazine in my previous life as a Lancastrian) and trying to wrap some projects around our homestead, this blog has again slipped into the weeds.  Sorry about that.
