Yesterday I traveled to Lancaster, home of lots of wonderful nouns including the good folks documented at Wide Eyed Wonder. Since Janell was in the studio for the day, I was game to take Drew up on his request to hang with Abbey & Josh. Drew is a bit of a techie and this item from the Onion is basically about him. He recently washed a Motorola Razr phone and offered it to me because the speakerphone feature wasn't working up to his hi-tech standards. I was easily able to sync it with my Mac via bluetooth and as far as I can tell the phone made it through the wash w/no real issues. I kinda feel like I got way over compensated for basically an hour and a half of babysitting--Abbey & Josh are pretty low maintenance and make me think that kids aren't that scary after all. And I wasn't even expecting anything. Oh well, what can I say. Drew and Lisa, please feel free to drink large tumblers of water around all of your electronic devices. If you'd like to get a 60 GB video iPod and run it through the wash (please use color safe bleach) sometime soon, I'll be available to babysit whenever you need me to.
Aw, glad our kids were good to you! We hear Elmo had a good time outside. I'm glad you were able to redeem my laundering debacle. Thanks again Mr. Ryan!

That's right, I forgot my Elmos!
And now I know who Lisa Lou is too. It's all making sense now.
