I've taken it upon myself to share discs of the 12 free Ricky Gervais podcasts with some friends and I thought I'd share these converted listener testimonials with you.

Amateur Audio Books Catch Fire on the Web

Part of the whole impetus behind starting this blog was so I could start getting my ideas out there in the world space and letting them come to some type of action of fruit bearing place in the grander picture. My idea for podcasting books in the public domain is another one I can chalk up as being untimely plucked from my "what he contributed to the world" list that will likely be read at my cremation and 21 gun salute ceremony when my days come to a close. I even went so far as to send Cameron Reilly of the Podcast Network an e-mail about it and he seemed kinda interested. Alas, I've gots ta be quicker on the draw and even faster to action. I'm learning new stuff every day.

Here's another one I lost -- They might've even held off on canceling The West Wing if they'd've heard my idea for making the presidential elections that take place on the show interactive. It would have been so cool to elect your fictional president via the Web and then make the writers and network actually have to abide by our decisions. Please don't blame me for canceling the show. Someday I'll stop sitting on all these good ideas.

I can't believe the Ricky Gervais show is already up to the 5th episode. Looks like I've got lots of laughs to catch up on tomorrow. If you haven't heard the show do yourself a favor and give it a spin on your favorite mp3 playback device. On an interesting sidenote, my buddy Kyle reminds Janell and I of Ricky's David Brent character from The Office. We mean that in the best way possible. It's mainly a delivery thing
