Do us a favor and surf on over to Comedy Central and check out our good bud Megan Mooney. She's got her own 1/2 hour special and it's worth catching at 9:30 PM. Nellie and I were honored to be in the audience for the taping so we really do know that it's gonna be good. We also know that she's got a very timely backdrop behind her (I've got a blurry razr pic of the set. If you don't believe me I will use it to cut you. I'm just not showing it right now because I don't want to spoil any surpises by spilling it out all over the interwebs.). If you guessed the CNN graphic for "Operation SWARMER" you are sooooo wrong.

In the episode "The Homecoming" (2/9/05) Charlie's date Lucy mentions that her dad is out of town looking to buy a paper company in Slough. This is a reference to the British show "The Office" (2001) which took place at a paper company in Slough.

Dave Says...

"CNN has a new video service called pipeline. Check out their slogan. I don’t even know why someone would choose that or what it means."

He's right, "ride your world" is pretty senseless. If I explore it too closely, my thoughts don't gravitate toward family friendly items of humor or entertainment. It's a poor tagline. If they'd have asked Dave and me to write it we could have saved them some major bucks and we'd have given them a much more coherent statement.

Clooney For President?

Just so you can say you heard it here first, it is my firm belief that George Clooney will someday play the role of President of the United States. Just putting that out there. You can scoff all you want, but he's a way better actor than Ventura, Schwarzenegger and Reagan combined. Check out this Fresh Air interview and see if you can pick up on what I'm puttin' down.
